We cover the entire process - from design and engineering, all the way to assembly and after-services

Consultation

Our team analyses your process and submit our proposal to find the best possible solution to produce your products profitably and with the highest quality.

We always concentrate on both products and processes, and our DFA work will help you to reduce your costs.

Project Management

A customer-centric approach, open communication, visibility and accountability at all levels within the process and organisation provides the basis of successful long-term partnerships with our customers.

We understand that the success of Tech Group relies on the success of our customers. While working with customers from several industries we have gained demonstrable knowledge and experience.

Our project managers with engineering backgrounds are the single point of contact throughout the project overseeing delivery, quality and cost.

Design & Engineering

Our mechanical engineering team has a diverse range of experience and expertise. All of our qualified and experienced engineers use the latest version of the SolidWorks CAD software.

Our engineering process is guided by several standards and directives, including the Machinery Safety Directive with ergonomic design principles.

We always strive to take into account design for manufacturing (DFM), design for assembly (DFA), and the cost and quality of the product.

Electrical equipment and systems are a vital component of product development in many industries. A successful electrical system for a demanding destination is made with industry knowledge, exceptional expertise and skilled design work.

Tech Group’s design engineers create electrical and control system diagrams, select components and programme the logic for numerous sectors and all sorts of application, depending on the customer’s requirements.

Typically, automation design is part of a larger entity in which other design expertise is included.

Our automation design expertise includes:

  • Industrial hardware and software design
  • Wide range of PLC families from Siemens, Beckhoff, Omron, Allen-Bradley and Mitsubishi

All common programming languages in the fields of PLC and user interface programming are used. We utilise a wide range of industrial robot programming, including KUKA and ABB.

Manufacturing & Assembly

Throughout our organisation, and specifically on the manufacturing floor, we employ lean manufacturing practices to create value by reducing waste.

Where possible, and project dependent, we establish lean work cells. Our manufacturing & assembly capabilities include:

  • Build-to-print manufacturing
  • Low and medium volume production
  • Final product and subassembly manufacturing
  • Electrical control cabinet manufacturing & assembly
  • Custom mechanics manufacturing & assembly
  • Cable harness manufacturing & assembly
  • Component sourcing
  • Metal fabrication and mechanical assembly
  • Testing and quality assurance

Installation & Ramp-up

Our professional technicians have the competence and know-how to install the manufactured machinery fast, efficiently and safely.

Depending on the project, some electrification can be completed on-site and then be commissioned.

After ramp-up, on-site support is available if necessary, where our experts can provide you with technical know-how, quick troubleshooting, problem-solving, and professional resources for smooth production shifts with less downtime.

Lifecycle services

Depending on your needs, we are eager to help you as much as possible.

We’ve had many different lifecycle services agreements over the years with our customers, including a mix of various aspects:

  • Spare part manufacturing and delivery
  • Rebuild & upgrades
