Earlier this year, Tech Group joined the European Photonics Industry Consortium, which reflects how central photonics has become to the kind of work we do. Light-based technologies increasingly show up inside the machines we build: in inspection systems, in optical alignment, in sensing and testing equipment for components that work at the boundary of what’s physically measurable. Joining EPIC was a logical step to stay close to the people driving that field forward.
The EPIC AGM & Summit 2026 on April 28-30 is our first major event as a consortium member. Taking place at the Palais des Congrès in Juan-les-Pins, the summit brings together over 450 executives and technology leaders from across Europe, North America, and Asia, covering everything from lasers and integrated photonics to quantum technologies and advanced imaging.
For Tech Group, events like this matter because of the relationships they make possible. We build machines for companies working at the frontier of photonics, electronics, and life sciences, and the best partnerships tend to start with a shared understanding of where a technology is heading and what manufacturing challenges come with it. The EPIC Summit is a great place for that kind of exchange.
